Updates From A Coach

Well, I recently finished my first season as a high school football coach. I must say that the role is BEYOND fulfilling. I get to teach football, LEARN football, apply tips and training to aspiring athletes AND I get to recruit. It's like I'm playing NCAA 10 every weekend. Lol. Here's the rundown of season #1:

~ We finished 5-4 with NINETEEN (19) kids on the Fro-Soph.
~ We have a DAMNED good Freshman QB and a STAR Freshman WR.
~ We may be developing a monster at Nose Tackle.
~ I love the kids and they love me. They fuckin follow me around after school lol.
~ I've lost 25 pounds working out with them this season. It's inspiring.
~ We were REALLY a 7-2 team, but injuries during the last 2 weeks fucked us up.
~ The Catholic League is SCARED now.
~ Other schools have approached me after games about coming to their schools.
~ I'll NEVER leave Hales unless they don't want me there.
~ I realize now why Coach Sanders loves his role at Hales so much.
~ We're going to lift this school back up to prominence. GUARANTEED.
~ THIS SHIT IS FUN. I was put on Earth to work with kids and coach sports.

Here's today's gratuitious sports photo:

Army broke out these DOPE ASS UNIS for their game against VA Military Institute (VMI). That would have my interest as a recruit FOR DAMNED SURE. Lol.

Altogether, I'm just really proud of my experience and the way God shifted me back here so that I could be exposed to this. Coaching and mentoring is EVERYTHING I dreamed it would be and I'm SURE it will get better because I'm not even IN the school building full-time yet. I can't wait. IN VIRUM PERFECTUM. Hales Franciscan OWT.
