President Barack Obama Addresses Healthcare

What's up world? Following last night's Presidential Address of Congress on the issue of Healthcare, I was moved to blog about a few things about the state of America that has truly disturbed me. I was moved IMMENSELY by the carefully crafted words of President Obama, who I have decided is one of the most genuine, honest and caring Presidents that we will EVER have. I believe he has begun to stamp an indelible legacy on our nation, and I respect his courage to stand tall against critics which come by the MILLIONS on an everyday basis. I find it to be beyond disrespectful for people to continue to try to shift the blame of our current standing on President Obama and what he "hasn't done", when he has actually stopped an economy under a multi-trillion dollar deficit from imploding and going into total default in less than 8 REAL months on the job. I think that in itself should be enough for critics to at least get off his ass: but they won't. It seems that when everyone can't get what they want RIGHT NOW from President Obama, they label him as a "failure" to THEIR cause. We see this everyday from the Republican Party, especially last night. I won't even go into that fool's nonsense, but I will say that "that governor from South Carolina" embarrassed himself to DEATH last night. I want people to start understanding that race is a major part in a lot of this: many White people, especially long standing politicians, CEOs and also parents (in the case of the Presidential Address on Education) have a MAJOR PROBLEM with taking orders from a Black Man. Say what you want, it's true: we know it, you can't fool us about it and we'd ACTUALLY respect you MORE if you were just honest. Lying about it is a slap in OUR faces. Nonetheless, I have total confidence that President Obama is going to continue along this path to prominence and I fully support him with all that I have to offer. Never before have I felt so strongly that someone was right, and never before had I ever felt that someone was a LEADER. EVERYONE CAN SEE what I see, some don't like it, but they know it's true. I'm proud to say that I now know how my grandfather felt about Martin Luther King, Jr. I'm proud to be a voting, able-bodied and empowered American. I am proud to be a follower of President Barack Obama.
